I've been thinking about a highway capable bike for a while. I ferried a CB300F on Friday and liked it. I'd also been looking at the CB500F and found one on the list of Craig with small miles on it. I test rode it today and decided to pull the trigger.
So now I have a 2013 CB500F.

Slow for now. I gotta get my big bike skills back. I've been riding a Grom for the last year.

This is the 3rd bike I've owned. I've been riding for not quite a decade. My first bike was a 600cc Triumph Speed 4.

Welcome. Drive safe my friend. Always remember that an accident is there waiting. Although I drive a tourer now, I had my first accident in 12-13. 2 months of recovery. I have been riding since way before you were probably born. It can happen. But, I know you have experience and know a lot so enjoy your rides on a nice bike. Congrats.

It's welcome back. I've had my M license for nearly a decade, I just haven't owned a highway capable bike for a few years. Also, I was born when Nixon was still living in the White House. Not saying you're not old as shit, just saying if you've been riding since way before I was born, you're old as shit :)

:) You got me on that. No comment. I said you had experience. I know what I am talking about. I have some uncanny ability to remember trivia about commenters/posters. Guess I missed yours by a few. :) You old fart.

Ha! My first bike is bigger !.......Also probably weighs twice as much and makes less power.....And is way less modern.
Hmmm.....Okay, I probably should NOT challenge you to a drag race.

Welcome back to the highway-capable fold.
It looks nice, though I think I would lose the big ass hanging off the tail. But that looks like a project for after a few rides.
How is the white in the sun? I had one that gave a horrible glare at certain times of day.

Very nice! thats a clean looking bike. I can't wait to get my R6 back out in the spring. It's -8 F here right now.....so no riding.
